We are building a new kind of document.
IDOP LABS develops IDOP, an open file format for interactive documents, and the ecosystem needed to create, open, run, edit and distribute them. IDOP Cloud is the first product built on it.
§ 01What we do
A format first. Products on top of it.
Most software companies build an application and, if they must, define a file format for it. We are doing it the other way round. The core of our work is IDOP: a document format whose files carry their own interface, logic and data, and which any reader can validate and run safely. It is published as an open specification, so that documents do not depend on us.
On that format we build products: IDOP Cloud, a web environment to open, run, keep and share documents; a reader that installs as an app; templates; tools for developers; and a connector for AI assistants. The product page lists what is available, what is in preview, and what is planned.

§ 03Where we are
Early, and building in the open.
IDOP LABS is an early-stage company. The IDOP 1.0 specification is published as a Candidate Recommendation, IDOP Cloud is live and free to use, and forty first-party templates are available. Paid plans, a visual editor and native readers are in preparation.
We are based in Poland and work in English, so that the format can serve an international audience from the start. The operating company’s registration details are on the company information page.
